Description

Initially dubbed the Baby Beretta, the 9000s is a polymer frame, open slide design, compact Beretta Pistol in 9 mm Luger and .40 S&W. The 9000s utilizes a Browning type tilt barrel locking system and a fiberglass reinforced technopolymer frame with two special steel alloy rail inserts. The ergonomic frame is a Giugiaro Design with an eye towards a "modern" appearance. The 9000s is unique in the Beretta line in that it has both a "Cocked and Locked" feature and can be carried decocked.

History

Introduced in 2000 and first appearing in 2001 Catalog. The 9000S Type D was not included in the 2005 Catalog.
